The Challenge

Conventional long-duration power systems face efficiency, logistics, and integration limits. TorrideX explores a staged compact architecture designed to improve usable electrical extraction while reducing dependence on large, complex thermal-only conversion systems.

The Solution: Staged Extraction Architecture

Instead of a simple thermal converter, TorrideX explores a non-equilibrium plasma environment to extract energy across multiple domains:

Overall efficiency: Modeled multi-stage targets under laboratory validation.

Phase 0: Initial Proof of Concept

Current Status

Current focus: building the Phase 1 laboratory MVP — a non-radioactive coaxial system for validating thermal behavior, structural robustness, plasma controllability, instrumentation, and measurable electrical-output pathways.

The MVP is designed to physically validate modeled baseline targets before deeper integration or any isotope-assisted configuration.

Development is guided by thermal, structural, and system-level modeling to reduce hardware iteration risk.
